KOKODA CAMPAIGN TOURS IS A COMPANY THAT HAS A WEALTH OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE KOKODA TRACK AND THE HISTORY OF THE KOKODA CAMPAIGN.

THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE KOKODA TRACK THAT DRIVES PEOPLE BACK YEAR AFTER YEAR. IT TRULY IS AN AMAZING PLACE AND YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. IT IS TOUGH AND CHALLENGING BUT ALSO EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE AT THE SAME TIME.

SAFETY FIRST

The safety of our clients is our number one priority and our services are provided with due care and skill. Our team is extremely experienced and professional and are there every step of the way.

Please Note You will not be made to walk in the dark and you will always have a guide with you until you reach camp.

We will assist you in every possible way to complete your journey and will provide you with a safe, unique and inspiring insight of the Kokoda Track and the history of the Kokoda Campaign.

We have fully trained first aid personnel on all Australian led treks. Our Papuan leader has extensive knowledge of the strict protocols for emergency situations on all tours. We have a computer monitored GPS tracking system for all Papuan led tours which can relay information immediately back to Australia to assess any incidents or emergencies and implement emergency procedures if necessary.

ON THE TRACK!

Our Papuan guides and porters are second to none. They leave no stone unturned. They are ready and willing to give their hand freely through the most difficult parts of the track when needed. They have a genuine interest in the safety and well being of each person just like the Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels had for our Diggers many years ago.

Our legends ( porters) are well looked after. We pay them well above the KTA minimum wage and their food is chosen by themselves and paid for by Kokoda Campaign Tours with no restrictions. Our Legends are flown back to their homes in Kokoda

GIVING BACK

We believe it is important to give back and not exploit the true reasons why our Diggers sacrificed their lives along the Kokoda Track and that’s why each trek we support a different charity. We support charities in Australia and village orphanages and village hospitals along the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea. We give one dollar per kilometre that each person walks to one of these charities.  

By participating in a trek with us you can be assured that you will make a difference to someone’s life. That in itself makes us proud to guide people across the Kokoda Track and have them on our tours. The experience truly is life changing!
